Injured slow loris rescued from Numaligarh tea garden, shifted for treatment

NUMALIGARH: An injured and rare slow loris was rescued on Monday from the lower section of the Numaligarh tea estate in Golaghat district. Local residents noticed the animal lying injured in a part of the garden, after which they promptly informed the Forest Department. Soon after, forest officials reached the spot and rescued the animal. After primary treatment, the slow loris was sent to the Kaziranga Rescue Centre for advanced medical care.
