Integrated draft electoral roll published in Sivasagar
The integrated draft electoral roll was released at the Sukafa Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Sivasagar Election District on Wednesday.

SIVASAGAR: The integrated draft electoral roll was released at the Sukafa Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office in Sivasagar Election District on Wednesday.
On the occasion, discussions on the draft electoral roll with representatives of political parties, journalists, campus ambassadors were held under the chairmanship of Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Karmadev Brahma and Returning Officer Sugata Goswami.
As mentioned in the meeting, the base date of this integrated draft electoral roll is January 1, 2023. The final draft photo electoral roll will be published on January 5, 2023 and objections can be filed by December 8, 2022.
The objections will be settled by December 26, 2022. People can log in to NVSP.IN, Voter Helpline Mobile app, Voter Portal, ECI.GOVT.IN. Applications can be made through Form 6 for inclusion of names in the electoral rolls, Form 7 for Deduction and Form 8 for correction etc.
HAFLONG: Dima Hasao Deputy Commissioner Nazreen Ahmed and District Election Officer (DEO) held a meeting-cum-press meet with political parties and media representatives on Wednesday at the DC's conference hall to publish the Draft Electoral Rolls of 16-Haflong (ST) LAC. The final electoral rolls will be published on January 5, 2023, as informed by Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Nazreen Ahmed, in presence of Election Officer Bruhid Rabha and ADC, A R Mazumder.
In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Nazreen Ahmed informed that the Draft Photo Electoral Roll pertaining to 16-Haflong (ST) LA Constituency in respect of Special Summary Revision of Electoral Roll/2023, has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Registration of Electors Rules, 1960. Copy of the same was published on Wednesday and is available for inspection at the office of the DC and at all polling stations, during office hours.
The qualifying date for preparation of the Electoral Rolls is January 1, 2023. If, with reference to the above said qualifying date, there be any claim for the inclusion of a name in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of name or any objection to particulars in any entry, it should be lodged on or before 08.12.2022 in Form 6, 7, or 8 as may be appropriate.
TINSUKIA: As per the directive of the Election Commission of India, the draft photo Electoral Roll for 124- Margherita constituency in the O/o SDO(C) was published on Wednesday. According to the draft electoral, the total electors in 124-Margherita LAC with respect to 01.01.2023 as the qualifying date stands at 2,06,825, out of which 1,04,137 are male and 1,02,688 are female. There has been an overall increase of 1.10% after the addition and deletion process.
Election Officer Adity Neog, while addressing the gathering, including representatives from political parties, informed that the claims and objections related to the draft electoral roll can be filed from 09.11.2022 to 08.12.2022 and the same will disposed by 26.12.2022. The final electoral roll will be published on 05.01.2023. Aditi Neog also urged the political party representatives in attendance to engage booth-level agents, so that the electoral roll can be verified at a faster pace and to encourage new voters to register themselves so as to not leave any eligible voter behind.
