International Translation Day observed at Nandeswar Saikia Auditorium at Nalbari

NALBARI: International Translation Day was observed on Thursday at Nandeswar Saikia Auditorium at Nalbari.

On the occasion of International Translation Day, Torjoma, the translation journal edited by Pankaj Kumar Medhi, organized a translators' meet. Bipul Kumar Dutta, Ajit Mahanta, Dr Binoy Kumar Majumdar, and many translators participated in the meet.

Pankaj Kumar Medhi, the editor of Torjoma, said that the observance of International Translation Day was an opportunity to pay tribute to the work of language professionals and this practice would carve a new path for the coming generations.
