DIBRUGARH: The sacred Jhulan Utsav at the revered Radha Krishna Devasthan, popularly known as Jalan Mandir, at Jalan Nagar, Dibrugarh, commenced on August 5 and continued till August 9, drawing devotees into a divine celebration of devotion, music, and floral beauty.

Just like every year, the temple has come alive with spiritual fervour as devotees thronged to witness the celestial Deities of Sri Radha and Krishna, beautifully adorned and placed on a gracefully decorated Jhulan (swing). The swing, enveloped in vibrant and fragrant flowers, becomes the centrepiece of this divine festival.

Each evening, a special arati is performed to the Deities amidst melodious kirtans sung by devotees, followed by a cherished opportunity for visitors to personally sway the swing—offering their service and love directly to the divine couple. For many, this experience is not just a ritual but a deeply personal moment of spiritual connection. During this period, the temple is said to transform into a glimpse of Vrindavan, re-creating the playful pastimes of Radha and Krishna.

The temple management has made elaborate arrangements for smooth darshan and participation.
