DIBRUGARH: The Aviation Security Group (ASG) Dibrugarh celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a heartwarming event in collaboration with the Ekal Gramothan Foundation, Lahowal, highlighting unity, respect, and community bonding.

The celebration, held at 12 noon, brought together 15 members of the foundation and 45 unit personnel of the ASG, including CISF personnel stationed at the Dibrugarh airport. The occasion was marked by the traditional tying of rakhis by the foundation members to CISF jawans, symbolising the sacred bond of protection and goodwill. The gesture reflected deep appreciation for the tireless service and commitment of the security forces.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, sweets and gifts were distributed among the participants, while blessings and warm wishes were exchanged. The event served not only as a cultural celebration but also as an expression of solidarity between the local community and the personnel safeguarding the region’s aviation facilities.

The presence of CISF Deputy Commandant Rohit Sahare Deurao lent special significance to the occasion. His interaction with the foundation members and unit personnel underscored the importance of maintaining strong ties between citizens and security forces.

Speaking at the event, organisers from the Ekal Gramothan Foundation expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect with the CISF team, while ASG officials appreciated the heartfelt gesture, noting that such initiatives strengthen morale and foster mutual respect.
