DONKAMUKAM: Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM Tuliram Ronghang on Sunday warmly welcomed the newly formed 65-member BJP Mandal Committee of Bithung Rengthama MAC constituency, at the Tumpreng party office in West Karbi Anglong.

Tarjan Langthasa will lead the 65-member committee as president and Sarsing Terang as general secretary for another term. CEM Tuliram Ronghang asked the new committee to work selflessly for the people at the grassroots level. He also highlighted the developmental activities done in all the 26 MAC constituencies.

"The stadium and sports complex are on the verge of completion and hopeful we will inaugurate it before assembly election next year," he said. He also assured that land pattas would be given within December this year to the original settlers of the Rongkhang Reserve forest. He announced that soon 2,400 National Food Security Act (NFSA) cards for BPL families of West Karbi Anglong would be given.
