KOKRAJHAR: In a significant step forward to achieve the BTR Government’s mission to build a secure, empowered, and smart Bodoland, the CEM of BTC Pramod Boro on Thursday launched four transformative schemes under the CEM Special Initiative Scheme at Bodofa Cultural Complex in Kokrajhar. The schemes include Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Bodoland Women Empowerment Mission, Mission Child-Friendly BTR, and Bodoland Computer Literacy Mission.

The CEM of BTC Pramod Boro said that the CEM’s Special Initiative Scheme aimed at fostering inclusive growth, ensuring equal opportunities, and empowering women, children and Divyangs, making them equal contributors in BTR’s journey of peace and progress.

Boro distributed tricycles and laptops to the persons with disabilities, and bicycles and bags to the female students on the occasion.

The programme was also attended by MLA Lawrence Islary, BTC Secretary of Education A Barman, and Director of Education Jagadish Prasad Brahma.
