Kokrajhar Police distribute ration among needy families at Lungsung forest area

Kokrajhar: Kokrajhar Police, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Rakesh Roushan, distributed ration to around 600 needy families of remote encroached forest villages at Lungsung forest area in Kokrajhar on Saturday. Ration, including rice, dal, potatoes, oil and salt were distributed among the needy people of the area. The senior police official also urged the locals to maintain social distancing and practice hygiene. He advised them to clean their hands using hand sanitizer/hand wash soaps at regular intervals.

The SP also said that readymade food would be given to the needy in every police station. He advised the public to stay indoors and maintain social distancing and to help the government to prevent spread of the deadly coronavirus.
