DIBRUGARH: The Office of International Affairs, Dibrugarh University, in collaboration with the Korean language students, on Wednesday organized the inauguration of the Korean Language Wall Magazine. The programme began with the National Anthem of India, followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony jointly conducted by Vice-Chancellor Professor Jiten Hazarika and Lee Ki Seuk, a distinguished guest from South Korea.
The event was attended by Registrar Dr Parmananda Sonowal, Head of the Office of International Affairs Professor Surajit Borkotokey, Deans, Professors from various departments, faculty members, and students of the Korean language programme. The initiative aims to promote Korean language and culture on campus, offering students a creative platform for articles, artworks, and literary expressions. The inauguration marked a step forward in strengthening cultural ties between India and South Korea while encouraging academic collaboration.
