Krishi Vigyan Kendra Lakhimpur organized training programme on goat farming

A CORRESPONDENT

LAKHIMPUR: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Lakhimpur organized a three-day training programme on 'Commercial management of scientific goat farming' under capacity building of farmers through training programme on profitable dairy farming and livestock management at Telahi from February 27 to March 1.

A total of 40 farmers attended the training programme. The programme was conducted under the chairmanship of Dr. P.K. Pathak, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK, Lakhimpur. On the other hand, Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science) KVK, Lakhimpur, Dr. Arindam Chakraborty officiated the programme as resource person along with Dr. Karuna Saikia and Dr. Deepandita Barman, the Assistant Professors of Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science, Assam Agricultural University, Joyhing.
