Legacy Data Code verification in full swing in Jorhat

JORHAT: The process for the legacy data code (LDC) application is going on in full swing in Jorhat. It is the last phase for one’s family verification. There are 22 NRC verification centres in Jorhat district. People from various districts like Hailakandi, Karimganj, Dhubri, Goalpara etc, are thronging the verification centres. Officials deputed from various departments are trying hard to verify and find their legacy data connection. The LDC verification that started on February 15 will continue till the last week of May. Officials from NRC verification centres said that the flow of people is much higher than the previous two verifications.
