Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar's demise condoled in Demow

DEMOW: The Demow Press Club, All Assam Bengali Youth Students' Federation Demow Regional Committee and Sivasagar District Committee along with several other local organizations of Demow have condoled the demise of Bharat Ratna and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away on Sunday. Lata Mangeshkar was known as the Nightingale of India.

Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of Thowra Constituency, also condoled the demise of Lata Mangeshkar and pray for her departed soul and said her death was an irreparable loss. The Bahumukhi Sangeet Kala Kendra Demow also paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar by lighting earthen lamps in front of her photo.
