Mani Paul has made 70 idols this time and his idols usually go to Sivasagar, Nitaipukhuri, Rajabari, Rajmai, Athabari, Thowra and colleges of Demow along with the surrounding areas. The rate of a small idol of Goddess Saraswati is Rs 1,000 and that of a medium size idol is Rs 3,000.

On the other hand, the rate of a big idol is Rs 7,000. He said that compared to the previous years, this year he did not receive many orders for idols. He added that this was due to the Citizenship (Amendment) Act which had dampened the spirit of people. Saraswati Puja will be held on Wednesday.
