Lightning strikes four buffaloes in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: In a tragic incident, four buffaloes of a farmer were killed on the spot when lightning struck them in Jerenga Pathar area in Sivasagar on Wednesday night. Heavy rain began in the evening on Wednesday in many parts of the district. Lightning and thunderbolts struck at many places. According to sources, the buffaloes belonged to farmer Buddheswar Bora. He has urged the government to come to his rescue as he was earning his livelihood through these buffaloes.
