Man consumes poison after sons fail to get government jobs in Bajali district

PATHSALA: In a tragic incident, a 65-year-old man died by suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in the Bajali district. He died while undergoing treatment at the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College & Hospital of Barpeta. As per report, the deceased has been identified as Chittaranjan

Patgiri, a resident of Muguria area of Pathsala. He consumed some poisonous substance at his residence on Wednesday and the family members noticed him in a serious condition. They rushed him to Swahid Madan Rawta Civil Hospital at Pathsala where doctors referred him to Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College & Hospital at Barpeta considering his serious condition. The family members of the victim informed that the man was depressed for some days after his two sons were unable to get jobs in the Police department. After the postmortem, the body was handed over to family members. Patgiri leaves behind his wife and two sons.
