Mangaldai unit of All Assam Municipal Employees’ Union on Monday organized a citizens meet at the municipal board auditorium

MANGALDAI: Mangaldai unit of All Assam Municipal Employees' Union on Monday organized a citizens meet at the municipal board auditorium in connection with the statewide three-day total strike beginning from Monday in support of the eight point charter of demands of the employees union. The meet chaired by Dr Budhin Ch Hazarika was addressed by representatives of several local public organizations and leading citizens including Bhabesh Kakati, Ramesh Ghosh , Golok Saikia, Mayukh Goswami, Basanta Sarma, Mukul Ch Baruah, Nipen Deka and Partha Chakraborty. Earlier Manoranjan Sarma and Kishor Nath, vice president and secretary of the union delivered welcome address and explained the objectives. Later, the meet while supporting the demands resolved to place the resolution before Chief Minister for its early consideration and action.
