Meenakshi Permey appointed new Co-District Commissioner of Demow

DEMOW: The Government of Assam, in a notification issued on August 3, 2025, stated that Meenakshi Permey, ACS, former Additional District Commissioner, Sivasagar, has been transferred and posted as Co-District Commissioner, Demow. Meenakshi Permey, ACS, is the new Co-District Commissioner Demow. Partha Pratim Khanikar, ACS, former Co-District Commissioner, Demow, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Commissioner, Nalbari. After the Demow co-district was formed, Partha Pratim Khanikar, ACS, was the first Co-District Commissioner Demow.
