Meet held regarding conduct of Combined Competitive (Prel) exam

HAFLONG: Regarding the conduct of Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 to be held on September 12, 2021, a preparatory meeting was called by Dima Hasao Deputy Commissioner Paul Barua at the DC conference hall, Haflong on Friday.

Discussion was held to ensure strict adherence to the existing COVID-19 protocols in all the five examination centres at district headquarter Haflong viz. Haflong Government College, Government Girls' HS School, Government Boys' HS School, CHT Synod HS School and Don Bosco HS School.

The meeting was held with ADCs, SDO(S), AC, Treasury Offficer, BDOs, DTO, health representatives, police representatives, videographers and supervisors of 5 (five) examination centres. The Deputy Commissioner advised that sufficient number of police personnel be deputed for ensuring safety of confidential materials and also at all the venues. Other stakeholders were instructed to ensure that all necessary instructions were followed during the ensuing examination.

Also, the representatives from the Health & Family Welfare Services were instructed to ensure that all necessary guidelines are followed. The candidates are to bring their vaccination certificate of at least 1 (one) dose or / and RAT test report conducted within 48 hours or / and RTPCR report conducted within 72 hours. However, in case the candidate fails to bring the same, they are to get themselves RAT tested at the examination venues.
