Meeting held to discuss preparation for Assam Assembly Election in Bilasipara
BILASIPARA: A meeting was held at the SDO (Civil) office, Bilasipara recently with all the representatives of political parties in connection with the Assembly Election, 2021 to be held at Bilasipara Election District, stated a press release. The meeting was presided over by the District Election Officer/SDO (Civil) Bilasipara, Mridul Yadav, while Jagdish Brahma, Election Officer, and the representatives of different political parties attended the meeting. The District Election Officer said that the election in Bilasipara Election District would be held in the third phase i.e. on April 6, in both the LACs—26- Bilasipara West and 27-Bilasipara East. He explained the guidelines for conduction of election abiding by COVID protocol and requested everyone to co-operate for successful completion of the election process in Bilasipara Election district. The DEO said that a 24x7 Control room/ Helpline/ Redressal number 9435100275, 03667-1950 had been generated in the office of the District Officer for any complaint, query or help. The DEO said that the total number of voters, as per the final electoral roll published on January 18, 2021 in 26-Bilasipara West was 1,72,636 and in 27 Bilasipara East the number of voters was 2,16,494.
