Minister Jogen Mohan distributed Ex-gratia to families of flood victims in Sivasagar

GAURISAGAR: Assam Revenue and Disaster Management and PWD (state) Minister Jogen Mohan on Tuesday distributed one time ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each under Assam State Disaster Response Fund to the next of kin of the two deceased persons who lost their lives during the ongoing flood on June 22.

The two deceased persons are Sunil Nath of 159 No. Santak Grant village under Nazira subdivision and Ratul Swarnakar of Moiramara Gaon under Nazira subdivision. The two persons died of drowning in the flood water at Santak Grant and Dikhow River at Kujibali respectively.

The minister was accompanied by the Subdivisional Officer (Civil) Nazira, Samprity Goswami, Circle Officer of Nazira Revenue Circle, Kabita Kakati Konwar and other dignitaries.
