Miscreants Try To Kidnap School Student In Demow

DEMOW: On Friday morning miscreants tried to kidnap a school student in a car but later the student was luckily saved. Regarding this incident the family member lodged an FIR in Demow Police Station on Friday. In the FIR they stated that on Friday morning at around 8:30 am while Diuk Borthakur (14) was going to Hem Chanda Borgohain Model English School, Demow, near Demow Chariali Traffic point a silver Maruti Van was parked. The driver of the van told the boy the name of a person and asked if he knew him. At that time two youths who were inside the van, face covered with black clothes, opened the door of the van and lifted and took the boy inside, making him unconscious.

Later when the boy regained consciousness at Sivasagar Borpukhuri par, he did not see anyone in the van and opened the door of van and ran to his relative shop in Sivasagar Temple Road. Later the family members along with the boy reached Demow Police Station. In the FIR the family members of the boy have requested the OC of Demow PS to take necessary steps.
