DOOMDOOMA: A review meeting on ‘Eti Koli Duti Paat’ (Two leaves and a bud) scheme was held at the conference hall of Sadiya Co-District Commissioner (CDC) on Wednesday in presence of Sadiya constituency MLA Balin Chetia.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner of Sadiya Co-District (CDC) Manashjyoti Nath, Assistant Commissioner Prithiraj Saikia, the MLA’s representative Seemanta Moran, and managers of the tea estates under Sadiya co-district.
The meeting was chaired by CDC Manashjyoti Nath. He said a total of 8,218 beneficiaries were selected by the plantation authorities and all those who submitted the forms were given approval immediately. He requested all those who were excluded to fill up the Annexure-A form by June 30 and submit it to the District Commissioner’s office or the office of the Labour Inspector.
They also requested the manager of the tea estates of Ullah, Kissnes, Dhanjan, and Bajrangpur, having less number of beneficiaries, to fill up the forms of the beneficiaries and submit it to the office of the CDC by June 30.
The MLA requested the managers of Talap and Khobang TE, having a large number of beneficiaries, to submit the forms by July 5. To ensure the same, it was suggested to employ 2-4 educated youths in the garden to assist the beneficiaries so that they were not left out.
He asked the Sardars to enquire if anyone from their respective areas was excluded and asked them to make their Aadhaar cards at Aadhaar offices at the office of Block Development Office.
Assistant Commissioner Prithiraj Saikia requested the garden managers to submit the updates before 5 PM so as to send them to the higher authorities within the office hours. Finally, he thanked everyone and announced the end of the meeting.
