DOOMDOOMA: Bir Raghab Moran Government Model (BRMGM) College, NSS Unit in association with Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC), BRMGMC organized a motivational talk on the topic, 'The Secret of Eternal Youth' on Wednesday. The speaker for the event was a prominent author, scholar, translator, and ardent admirer of Sri Aurobindo and Sahitya Akademi Award winner for Translation, Diganta Biswa Sarma.

The Principal of the College, Dr.Amorjit Saikia delivered the inaugural address. The speaker Diganta Bishwa Sharma, highlighted the four elements of Indian Pedagogy namely, scriptures, guru, time and inspiration. Youth does not depend on the small years one has lived, but on one's capacity to progress. While on the other hand, one is inviting old age if one wants to settle down in life and reap the benefits of one's efforts. A person can be old in his 20's and young in his 80's too.

The secret to eternal youth is to increase one's potentialities and capacity building. There is no limit to progress and capacity building. He stressed that 'Future belongs to the young'. Youth is constant growth. The future is full of possibilities, not dark for the youths. Age is significant only for those who want to be old.

He too revealed the secrets to remain eternal youth. Firstly, one should have an aim and goal in one's life. One should emphasize on only- Progress, Progress and Progress.

Secondly, there should be an insatiable thirst for progress. Furthermore, one should believe that there is a conviction of limitless possibilities for progress. Again, aspiration in all spheres of life is another secret to remain eternally young. Smiling, too, is another secret, he added.
