A Correspondent

Tezpur: Indian Medical Association (IMA) Spouse Wing Tezpur organized self-composed multilingual poetry and short prose reading session at IMA hall premises on Sunday.

It was a mesmerizing evening with many leading physicians of the town shedding their usual roles of prescribing medicines and switching over to doling out panacea to the soul through the magic of their words. The evening saw them unwind amidst the beauty of literature. The event began with a welcome address by Sewali Goswami in the presence of Dr Rini Duarah, Superintendent of Kanaklata Civil Hospital, Tezpur, Dr Atul Kalita, president of IMA, Tezpur, and others. The evening flowed beautifully with music and poetry. The participants regaled the audience with their poems, prose and music.
