Naamti boy Antariksh Hazarika grabs 8th position in HSLC examination

GAURISAGAR: Antariksh Hazarika, a student of Naamti Chariali Jatiya Bidya Niketon in Sivasagar district, brought laurels to greater Naamti area as well as Sivasagar district by obtaining 586 marks (98 per cent) and securing 8th position in the HSLC examination, 2020.

He attained 94 marks in Assamese, 99 in English, 100 in General Mathematics, 100 in General Science, 93 in Social Science and 100 in Advanced Mathematics. Antariksh is the son of Basanta Hazarika, teacher of Naamti High, and Monjumoni Hazarika, teacher of Naamti Chariali Jatiya Bidya Niketon. He is a resident of Garakhiya Nagaor under Naamti Baruahpukhuri GP.

Soon after the declaration of result on Saturday, people from various walks of life wished his success over telephone. AASU education secretary Sarat Hazarika and Jorhat MP Tapon Kumar Gogoi congratulated Antariksh for his achievement.

Antariksh said that he did not have a specific time schedule for studies. He wants to become an engineer and in his spare time he loves to draw and read newspapers. Nripen Neog, Principal of his school, expressed happiness at Antariksh's brilliant result.
