National Press Day observed in Kokrajhar
The National Press Day-2021 was observed by the journalists of four districts of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) in a befitting manner with various colourful programmes at Nilkamal Brahma Auditorium Hall of Science College, Kokrajhar on Tuesday.

KOKRAJHAR: The National Press Day-2021 was observed by the journalists of four districts of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) in a befitting manner with various colourful programmes at Nilkamal Brahma Auditorium Hall of Science College, Kokrajhar on Tuesday.
Organized by the Information and Public Relations Department, BTR, in association with Bodoland Journalists' Association and Kokrajhar Press Club, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of BTC Pramod Boro attended the function as chief guest and inaugurated the programme by lighting the inaugural lamp.
BTC Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro lauded the role played by the media fraternity in highlighting various issues of the region and bringing to the notice of the government and the world. He said the media had always played a very decisive role and expect the same in the BTC in coming days too. He assured for various initiatives have been taken up for the welfare of media persons including group insurance.
