National webinar on ecorestoration held in Sadiya College

DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of Department of Botany and Department of Zoology, Sadiya College, in collaboration with Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) of the College organized a two-day national webinar on ecorestoration on Monday and Tuesday. Professor Narayan Chandra Talukdar, Vice-Chancellor, Assam Down Town University, and Shyama Prasad Biswas, former Professor, Department of Life Sciences, Dibrugarh University (DU), acted as resource persons for the webinar. They said, "We are not only threatening the planet's ecosystem but also we are threatening our survival. Hence ecorestoration is the need of the hour."
