New AMSU Tinsukia district committee formed

DOOMDOOMA: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the All Minority Students' Union (AMSU), Tinsukia District Committee was held in the ground floor of Milan Bhavan, Doomdooma on Friday with a day-long programme with Minnatul Islam, in-charge, Tinsukia district committee, in the chair.

Intiyaz Hussain, general secretary, AMSU central committee, attended the meeting as chief guest while Imtiyaz Ali, organizing secretary, AMSU, attended the same as guest of honour. After presentations of reports of AMSU Doomdooma, Margherita, Dholla, Barhapjan, Ledo, Tinsukia, Panitola, Talap, Tirap and Sadiya branches, the district committee for 2019-2020 was dissolved and a new committee for 2020-2022 was elected with Firujur Rahman as president, Munna Ansari and Elyas Khan as general secretaries and Kamal Ahmed Siddiqui as adviser.
