New branch of Axam Xahitya Xabha formed at Rangapara College

JAMUGURIHAT: A new branch of Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) was formed at Rangapara College on Monday, informed Dulal Nath, Organizing Secretary of the Managaldai regional office of the AXX. In this regard, a public meeting was held in the conference hall of the college with Prasanta Boro, Assistant Professor of the Bodo department and the Vice-President of Bodo Xahitya Xabha in the chair.

Addressing the session, Dulal Nath, Organizing Secretary of Xabha, talked about the mission of the Xabha and made an appeal to all concerned to put their hands and efforts together in strengthening the organizational set up of the Xabha.

Nath also traced the glorious 108-year-old history of AXX and spoke about future projects of the state literary body. The meeting was addressed by Prabin Kataky, Vice-President of Sonitpur Zilla Xahitya Xabha. Kamini Barua, Secretary of Sonitpur Zilla Xahitya Xabha dwelt on the objectives of forming a Xabha branch besides talking about constitutional provisions.
