DOOMDOOMA: The new committee of Chengelijan Anchalik Naba Udit Moina Parijat was formed at a meeting held at Chengelijan Sadhani Samanoya Kshetra with president Gyanbirti Chetia in the chair.
In the beginning Akankshya Bora, a student of Class III, presented a Jyoti Sangeet. Shishubandhu Moina Khanikar, Advisor to Tinsukia Zila Moina Parijat and a retired teacher of Kakapathar, attended the meeting as an observer. She said that through education one can prosper in various fields like literature, culture, sports, acting, and art, and welcomed all on behalf of the largest non-government children’s organization, the Sadou Asom Moina Parijat.
The meeting was attended by Khagen Baruah, active social worker and Advisor, Chengelijan Anchalik Naba Udit Moina Parijat, Satyabrata Chutia, Education Secretary, All Tinsukia District Chutia Students’ Union, Chengelijan Birangana Mahila Samiti President Moromi Baruah, and Advisor Jeena Chutia.
Secretary, Naba Udit Moina Parijat Parishmita Baruah read out the Secretarial report. An eleven-member new committee was formed with Gangadhar Chutia, Jina Chutia, and Khagen Baruah as advisors, Rima Dutta as President, Dipamoni Chetia Bora as Working President, Pushpa Gogoi Dutta as Secretary, Rashmita Chutiya Bora as Assistant Secretary, Manorama Gogoi Dutta as Treasurer, and Gyanbirti Chutia and Parishmita Baruah as ex-officio members.
The committee will involve children in the upcoming summer literary and cultural workshops, and to undertake programmes every Sunday to improve physical, mental, intellectual development.
