New COVID SOP in Dibrugarh district

DIBRUGARH: Dibrugarh district administration, keeping the exceptional surge of COVID infection in the district in view, has issued a fresh COVID SOP which will be effective from Tuesday in the entire district.

Under the new directives all shops, business establishments and market malls will be shut down from 9pm instead of 10pm. Entries in the malls, cinema halls, dhabas, government offices and other public places are restricted for unvaccinated persons. Vaccination certificate of 2 doses is mandatory.

According to the new SOP, wearing masks, washing of hands, social distancing and using sanitizers are mandatory for each individual in the district. Each shop and business establishment should not allow more than five customers in their shops and should maintain at least six feet distance from the customer.

The district administration cautioned all to follow the directives of new SOP strictly, failing which legal action will be taken.
