New management committee formed for Dhubri Samsan Kali Mandir

DHUBRI: A new body of Dhubri Samsan Kali Mandir management committee was formed in a general meeting held in the Samsan Kali Mandir premises on Sunday. A committee was formed with Sankar Kumar Barua and Gopal Bhattacharjee as the President and Working President respectively, and Uttam Prasad as Secretary. Earlier, the secretary of the outgoing management committee, Ashok Kumar Singh, presented four years' audited reports in the presence of the attending members. However, in the meeting, members in the house expressed serious concern over outstanding rents of tenants which ran to the tune of several lakhs. A resolution was adopted to approach the tenants for clearing of the outstanding rents within stipulated time.
