
DIBRUGARH: In a bid to accommodate the growing number of passengers during peak travel season, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NF Railway) has announced that it will operate a special train between Dibrugarh and Dhubri from December 4 to December 7.
Train No. 05938 will leave Dibrugarh at 7:30 AM on December 4 and reach Dhubri at 2:05 AM on December 5. The return train, Train No. 05937, will leave Dhubri at 7:20 PM on December 7, arriving in Dibrugarh the following day at 4:30 PM. The special service will run via major stations such as New Tinsukia, Naharkatia, Simaluguri, Furkating, Lumding, Guwahati, Rangiya, and New Bongaigaon.
Additionally, NF Railway announced the extension of special Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal train service which will run from December 6 to December 29. Train No. 02525 runs every Friday between Kamakhya and Anand Vihar Terminal. The return train number will be Train No. 02526. It will run every Sunday between December 8 and December 29.
Passengers with waitlist tickets on these routes are urged to make use of the new services so that they do not face discomfort during travel. Travelers are asked to refer to the latest information before undertaking their travels.
