Nitaipukhuri HCDG College Professor to Receive North East Shiksha Ratna Award

DEMOW: Dr. Diganta Gogoi, Head of the Assamese Department in Nitaipukhuri HCDG College near Demow and a resident of Demow Konwar Dehingia Gaon, will be given the North East Shiksha Ratna Award, 2019 by the All India Journalists’ Union in December at a function to be held in Tezpur. Dr.Diganta Gogoi is a writer, litterateur, and environmentalist. He has written a book titled Deodhani in order to create awareness against witch-hunting.
