Normal school hours restored for all institutions in Sivasagar district

SIVASAGAR: Inspector of Schools, Sivasagar District Circle, issued an order restoring normal school timings for all government, provincialized, and private schools in the district on Monday.

According to the directive, regular classes will now begin from 9:00 am onwards, in line with the Academic Calendar of SCERT/ASSEB. However, schools located in tea garden areas will continue to function from 7:30 am as before.

The order, signed by Inspector of Schools and DEEO Deva Jyoti Gogoi, supersedes the previous notification dated June 10 and has come into force with immediate effect.
