North Lakhimpur regional unit of AASU executive body constituted
The delegates’ meeting of the North Lakhimpur regional unit of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) was held on Thursday in the auditorium of Lakhimpur Commerce College.

LAKHIMPUR: The delegates' meeting of the North Lakhimpur regional unit of All Assam Students' Union (AASU) was held on Thursday in the auditorium of Lakhimpur Commerce College.
The event began with the unfurling of AASU organizational flag. It was followed by a chorus song presented by the students from North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous), Lakhimpur Commerce College and Lakhimpur Girls' College.
AASU chief organizing secretary Abhibartan Goswami, organizing secretary Manturaj Baruah, executive member Dhanmoni Dutta, Lakhimpur district AASU conveners Sanjib Kanwar, Kamala Sarmah, Faridur Rahman, Tultul Bhorali, Simanta Neog delivered lectures attending the programme.
In the same programme, the executive body the North Lakhimpur regional AASU was constituted with Bitopan Bhuyan as president and Asim Ranjan Bhuyan as general secretary. On the other hand, Pranjit Gogoi and Faridur Rahman were selected as the representatives in the district committee.
