Noted educationist Dulal Phukan passes away in Gaurisagar
Dulal Phukan, noted educationist, progressive writer, a resident of Amguri Bhuyanhat village and former principal of Borhat H S School of Charaideo district passed away

GAURISAGAR: Dulal Phukan, noted educationist, progressive writer, a resident of Amguri Bhuyanhat village and former principal of Borhat H S School of Charaideo district passed away on Monday morning at his residence due to old age ailments. He was 93. He was a progressive writer. He was closely associated with various social and intellectual activities of Amguri area. He was the founder president of Natun Xahitya Parishad. His demise was widely mourned in greater Amguri area. Amguri MLA Prodip Hazarika and various organizations Natun Xahitya Parishad Amguri, Jhanji Amguri Mahotsav Udjapan Samiti, Amguri College, Amguri AHDHS school, Amguri Girls High School, AASU , Amguri Regional Unit, Sadou Asom Gramya Puthibhoral Santha, Jhanji Press Club and many other organizations have condoled his demise. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a host of relatives.
