Noted writer Ratneswar Medhi passes away in Nalbari

NALBARI: Noted writer, ex-professor and Head of the English department of Barbhag College, Nalbari Ratneswar Medhi breathed his last on Saturday. He was born in 1940. He was a progressive writer and composed many books. Akabyik, Pramila Nabour Edinar Dastabez, Luchunar Golpo, Maxim Gorkir Shrestha Golpo etc. are some of his creations. He was one of the founder employees of Nalbari LICI branch and an integral part of Natun Xahitya Parishad.

He was associated with CITU, CPI(M), Nalbari Krishak Sabha etc. People have mourned his demise.
