Now Class 8 Passed Can Apply for Govt Job In Assam, Govt to Recruit for III and IV Grade Posts

GUWAHATI: In a major relief to the unemployed youths of the state, the Assam government has started a recruitment process for filling Grade-III and Grade-IV posts under the Directorate of Health Services (DHS, Assam).

All Assam permanent residents who have passed Class-8 Exams and meet other criteria can apply for the posts. Under the recruitment process, appointments will be made against 2,720 posts. The recruited will get monthly a salary of Rs. 14,000- 60,000 with grade pay.

To fill up the application form, one should visit the DHS, Assam Recruitment portal and click 'Important links'.The applicant should not forget to collect print-out copies of the applications.

It can be noted that the Assam BJP-led government made a promise of giving 1 lakh appointments to unemployed youths during the last assembly elections campaign.
