NYKS district advisory meeting held in Goalpara district

GOALPARA: A meeting of the Goalpara district advisory committee on youth programmes was held on Wednesday at the DC's conference hall. Varnali Deka, Deputy Commissioner and chairperson of the committee, presided over the meeting whereas Somnath Paul, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), Goalpara, presented the annual action plan which was discussed in details and suggestions were noted down.

The schemes Atma Nirbhar Bharat and Vocal for Local, with a motto of keeping local economy and exploring opportunities for livelihood by positive youth engagement, were also discussed. Ashrumoni Malakar, DDC, appreciated the role played by the NYKS, Goalpara during the COVID-19 pandemic.
