OBITUARY: Chandiram Das

Chandiram Das (78), a resident of Wood Road of Doomdooma,, passed away due to cardiac arrest on April 9. He was a prominent social worker and was an active member of Doomdooma Asomiya Puja Aru Natya Mandir Samiti.

He became ill after feeling dizziness while going to the bathroom. He was rushed to the FRU (hospital) in Doomdooma but doctors pronounced him brought dead. He is survived by his wife, five daughters and many relatives. His death cast a pall of gloom and was widely mourned by many socio-religious organizations.
