Obituary: Gopal Das

Gopal Das, a retired employee with the Assam Public Works Department (APWD-Home), Biswanath division, passed away on January 11 after a protracted illness at his residence at Pub Nabapur, here. He was 80. Born to Golok Das and Gajoi Das of Panpur Chengelimora village, Jamuguri, Das retired from the Biswanath Chariali office in 2000. He leaves behind his wife, five sons and a host of relatives. He was an active member of Pub Nabapur Gaon Sangathan.
