Obituary: Khanindra Medhi

Khanindra Medhi, working as a senior assistant in the Department of Information and Public Relations, Biswanath district, breathed his last on Friday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Guwahati. He was 58. A mourning meeting was held today at the Public Relations Directorate in Dispur on the demise of the employee with Director Anupam Choudhury in the chair. The meeting offered tributes to the deceased and conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family. Prashanta Kumar Borah, former Public Relations Officer of Bishanath Chariali and now the Chief Minister's Public Relations Officer, has also expressed deep grief over the demise of Medhi. Late Medhi was born on July 1, 1962 at Sualkuchi, Kamrup. He joined the Information and Public Relations Department at the Guwahati Head Office in1990 and was working here till his death.
