Obituary: Rajya Bala Deka

Rajya Bala Deka, a pious lady of Bazbarooah Xarani, Doomdooma, passed away on January 20 due to old-age ailment. She was 75 and is survived by three sons. Her husband Harendra Nath Deka predeceased her. She was closely associated with Doomdooma Naamghar and Doomdooma Pujaghar Samaj. Her last rites were performed at Doomdooma cremation ground on January 21. Her demise was widely mourned by a number of organizations, including Doomdooma Naamghar Xamity and Doomdooma Axamiya Puja aru Natya Mandir Xamiti.
