OBITUARY: Renu Das

Renu Das, wife of Rajani Das of Tamulpur under Baksa district, took her last breath on Sunday morning at the age of 80. She had been suffering from old-age complications since the last few months.

On Sunday morning, her health deteriorated and she passed away at her own residence in Tamulpur. As soon as the news of her demise spread, a number of followers and relatives gathered at her residence and mourned her demise.

She was the mother of Mrinal Das, general secretary of All Assam Karmachari Parishad. Many local organizations condoled the demise of Renu Das. She was connected with Tamulpur Srimanta Sankardev Sakha Xatra till her death. She leaves behind two sons and their respective families.
