Obituary: Retired vice-president of Sivasagar College Shiva Singh Konwar

Shiva Singh Konwar, retired vice-president of Sivasagar College, and a pioneer in the social, educational, political and sports sectors of Assam, passed away on October 22. Shiva Singh Konwar was the co-convener of the BJP Teachers' Cell. Sushanta Borgohain and Kushal Dowari, both former MLAs of Thowra constituency, condoled the demise of Shiva Singh Konwar.
