Prominent businessmen of Tangla town, Teju Ansari, an inhabitant of Ward No 3 locality of Tangla town left for his heavenly sojourn due to heart- related ailments at Mangaldoi Civil Hospital in the early hours of January 18. He was 68. Born in Uttar Pradesh he migrated in his youthhood days to Assam and established himself as a successful businessman venturing into diversified sectors including transport, iron, tea etc. He was a popular face among the business fraternity of the town. His janaza was performed at Tangla Bara Masjid Kabarastan. He left behind a son, a daughter along with a host of relatives and well-wishers. His death was widely mourned by a number of organizations and institutions including Tangla Chamber of Commerce, Tangla Media Circle, Tangla Bara Masjid among others.
