Octogenarian citizen Ananda Khanikar of Lakhimpur district donates body for medical research
Ananda Khanikar, an octogenarian citizen of Lakhimpur district, has donated his body to Lakhimpur Medical College and Hospital to make use of it for the purpose of research work in the field of medical science.

LAKHIMPUR: Ananda Khanikar, an octogenarian citizen of Lakhimpur district, has donated his body to Lakhimpur Medical College and Hospital to make use of it for the purpose of research work in the field of medical science.
He is a permanent resident of Nakari, Ward No. 1 of North Lakhimpur town. He has donated his body through the Ellora Vigyan Mancha which has engaged itself in fighting all forms of superstition and blind beliefs and for spreading scientific temper amongst people since its inception. Ananda Khanikar, in the presence of his family members, signed the testament concerned on November 9 at the temporary office of the Ellora Vigyan Mancha for Lakhimpur district, located at Granthagiri Press. The conscious citizens of the district have lauded the octogenarian citizen for his scientific view and magnanimity.
