One dead in a road accident near Demow in Thowra

DEMOW: A road accident took place near Demow in Thowra under Demow Police Station on Saturday night where one person died and one was seriously injured. According to sources, a dumper which was coming from Dibrugarh and heading towards Sivasagar side lost its control and hit a culvert near Demow in Thowra and overturned. The locals, employees working in the four lane road construction and Demow Police reached the area and tried to recover them from the dumper. However one died on the spot and another was seriously injured.
