One dies in cylinder blast at Birjhora Tea Estate, Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON: One died after a blast in a gas cylinder during Karam Puja. The incident took place at Birjhora Tea Estate under Bongaigaon Police Station where Birbal Ray (21), son of Jayanta Ray, a resident of Vatipara area of Purani Bongaigaon in the Bongaigaon district, injured his leg following a blast in a hydrogen gas-fuelled cylinder used for pumping balloons. He was taken to a private hospital of Bongaigaon where he died.
